The Yamaha YSM10 (2022 vintage) is a next-generation compact modular pick & place machine engineered for high-speed and high-accuracy SMT production. Designed for modern EMS and OEM manufacturers, the YSM10 offers an ideal balance of performance, flexibility, and footprint efficiency. This unit is configured with Yamaha’s HM high-speed placement head, integrated ScanCamera and MultiCamera vision alignment system, feeder base units for strong feeder capacity, complete nozzle set, and standard signal cables, ensuring full production readiness and seamless line integration. The advanced vision system enables accurate placement of micro passives as well as larger IC packages, making the YSM10 suitable for LED boards, industrial control assemblies, telecom modules, automotive electronics, and mixed-SKU production environments. While rated placement speed can reach approximately 46,000 CPH, realistic shop-floor throughput typically operates around 50% of rated performance depending on PCB complexity, feeder setup, and component mix. The machine integrates easily into standard left-to-right PCB flow SMT production lines and supports Yamaha intelligent feeder systems for faster changeovers and improved operational efficiency.
